Albert B. McClure Park

1230 Museum Road. The park contains 14 acres. Three lighted ball fields with bleachers are located in the park. One field is used for men’s softball, the middle field is used for youth baseball and softball. The large main shelter contains dressing rooms and restrooms. Two picnic shelters with picnic tables are grills are located in the park.

Mac Anderson Park

433 North Race Street, 36.13 acres. Iredell Memorial Hospital donated money to construct an additional one-mile walking trail for a total of two miles of trails on site. This park also contains exercise equipment including equipment especially designed for older adults. Restrooms are also on site.

 

Martin Luther King, Jr. Park

911 Lakewood Drive, 25 acres. The park has three large picnic shelters with grills and tables, paved walking trails, playground equipment, and twenty-four lighted regulation horseshoe courts.

 

Kimbrough Park

1833 Greenbriar Road. This park has 12 acres and is on the corner of Greenbriar Road and Pecan Street. The park has a multi-use slab with basketball goals, an informal baseball field, playground equipment, picnic shelter with tables, walking train, and restrooms. The park also contains a small lake.

 

Harris Park

1400 Lerain Court. This park is 7.6 acres and contains a football field, informal softball field, two outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, a picnic shelter, picnic tables, playground equipment, a small building with one meeting room, and restroom facilities.
