Pecan Park

136 North Center Street, located behind First ARP Church. This area is a 1.2 acre open space surrounded by trees with picnic tables for the convenience of downtown shoppers and workers to eat lunch and relax.

 

Newtonville Community Park

The park has 7.24 acres. Located on North Mulberry Street, the park has playground equipment, and a picnic shelter with tables and grills.

 

Albert B. McClure Park

1230 Museum Road. The park contains 14 acres. Three lighted ball fields with bleachers are located in the park. One field is used for men’s softball, the middle field is used for youth baseball and softball. The large main shelter contains dressing rooms and restrooms. Two picnic shelters with picnic tables are grills are located in the park.

Mac Anderson Park

433 North Race Street, 36.13 acres. Iredell Memorial Hospital donated money to construct an additional one-mile walking trail for a total of two miles of trails on site. This park also contains exercise equipment including equipment especially designed for older adults. Restrooms are also on site.

 

Martin Luther King, Jr. Park

911 Lakewood Drive, 25 acres. The park has three large picnic shelters with grills and tables, paved walking trails, playground equipment, and twenty-four lighted regulation horseshoe courts.
