We are available Monday through Friday to offer assistance in planning your visit to the heartland and foothills of North Carolina. “Irish-American Connection: Global Education Exchange”
March 10, 2010
Ed Tweedy from Rockingham Community College is a member of the Global Education Consortium. He has initiated an educational exchange program between RCC and several colleges in Ireland which are considered "Technical Institutes”—the American equivalent of our community college. Through the Exchange program, students and faculty participate in "home stays" with an Irish or American family respectively plus regular video-conference meetings throughout the year. Free. Open to the public.
Iredell Concert Association presents the Lake Norman Orchestra

The final concert of the Iredell Concert Association season will feature the Lake Norman Orchestra on Saturday, March 13 beginning at 7:30 pm. The performance will be held in Mac Gray Auditorium on the campus of Statesville Senior High School. This two day event will be a display of some of the best German Shepherd Working Dogs in the United States. A variety of competitions will take place.
