Join us on for a Scarlett O’Hara themed tea as we remember Stephanie Kastor Chapman, an avid Gone With the Wind fan and area educator. In 2019 we remember and honor the Nooe sisters (granddaughters of Colonel Sharpe, also educators). This tea will serve as a fundraiser for the Stephanie Kastor Chapman Memorial Scholarship. Delicacies from our kitchen and made by local high school students will be served as well as freshly brewed black tea. Adult tickets are $20, children 7-12 are $10, and children 6 and younger are free with a paying adult and are to be purchased through There will also be a raffle of assorted gifts and prizes. Tickets are $1 each, 6 tickets for $5.00 or 12 for $10. Cash or check for the raffle tickets only.

Stephanie was a teacher at Statesville Christian School when she lost her battle with breast cancer in June 2016. She was a beloved member of the SCS Family and taught for many years in other area schools. The Chapman family has decided to honor her memory by providing partial scholarships to students to attend Statesville Christian School. The Stephanie Kastor Chapman Scholarship has been established, not only to preserve the memory of this dedicated Godly teacher, but to allow deserving students the opportunity to receive a $1,000 scholarship towards their quality education in a Christian environment while attending Statesville Christian School.
